At HILTL, every button is a hallmark of quality. Made from urea or corozo, it is attached to the outer fabric with a long thread shank, wrapped with red thread and heat-sealed. This “button shank” sits exceptionally securely, makes the waistband easier to open and close, and eliminates the need for spare buttons. What is usually characteristic only of bespoke tailoring comes as standard in every pair of HILTL trousers: an eyelet buttonhole with a bartack. The eyelet buttonhole ensures the button sits perfectly in the desired position.
