Men's trouser specialist wins place in Textile Industry study PREMIUM MEN 2017
HILTL, the men's trouser specialist, wins a place amongst the top brands in the German textile industry survey PREMIUM MEN 2017. The study by the largest German textile media publication TextilWirtschaft asked top purchasing and branch managers about the 32 most important men's premium brands.

HILTL convinces through its skills
HILTL trousers achieved the highest ratings in the survey within the sectors Goods Performance and Delivery Performance. According to the industry traders, high quality and workmanship are two of the most important criteria in order to be successful within the premium segment. This is a tremendous achievement for HILTL across the board: "We are very pleased about this award and confirm our expertise within the men's trousers segment," says Michael Betz, Chief Product Officer (CPO) of HILTL.

A Tailoring Feat
Since 1955 HILTL has a wealth of experience in the tailoring of men's trousers. "We consistently combine this with innovative and fashionable themes and thus continue to develop ourselves without diverting from our core competence. This is something that our customers also recognize and appreciate", continues Betz.

HILTL is expanding its management team: from the 1st of November, Armin Griesbeck will assume responsibility for production and logistics as Chief Operating Officer (COO). With the newly created position, the trousers specialists from Bavaria are strengthening a core business area and thus taking account of the growing markets and demand for fast availability of products. By optimising the entire value chain, the company will be able to supply its premium products as needed by its specialist retail partners even more promptly and precisely.

Mr Griesbeck brings with him extensive experience in production and in particular in outward processing. In his last post he was Director of Operations & Sourcing at Clinton Logistics GmbH (CAMP DAVID and SOCCX). Previously he worked as Head of Production, Sourcing and Quality at Carl Gross / Création Gross GmbH & Co. KG for many years, where he was responsible for outward processing.

New growth strategy for Northern America planned for 2018 - Jack Victor Limited announced today that it has been named the North American distributor for German premium trouser brand HILTL. The Montreal-based maker of men’s premium suits and sportcoats takes over exclusive distribution rights in Canada immediately, and will assume responsibility for the US market for Fall | Winter 2018, premiering at Pitti Uomo in January. Previous HILTL US Sales Agent Jeffrey Roberts has been appointed Brand Manager and will direct Jack Victor’s new US HILTL sales structure.

Jack Victor is known for its high quality, North American-made tailored clothing. The new association will provide the company with access to the important and growing premium washed cotton segment of the men’s trouser market. HILTL is regarded as the leading European brand in this category, with its cotton and wool trousers featuring the finest Italian fabrics and trims, and elevated craftsmanship. HILTL will in turn benefit from Jack Victor’s extensive North American servicing and distribution infrastructure, including new showrooms in New York City and Montreal.

North America is the most important export market for HILTL and a key element in the company’s growth strategy. The companies expect HILTL customers to realize significant advantages from the new arrangements. The partnership with Jack Victor will place HILTL in closer proximity to market Developments, allowing for quicker adjustments to its product portfolio and faster replenishment times, all key factors in meeting customer needs.
